Our Levels

Intro:

This orientation class is a 50 minute full body workout designed to teach you The fundamentals of Pilates. Clients will learn how to set up their machine, and how to use springs and straps correctly. In the best interest of your safety all new clients to our studio must take this class first, even if you have done Pilates prior to coming to Art of Pilates.

Level 2:

This intermediate level includes level 1 and layers in professions building on the fundamentals with more complex exercises including unilateral work. This is a more challenging and intense level class. 

This level must be mastered and teacher approval is required before moving on to Level 3

Level 1:

Strengthen and tone the body while practicing the fundamentals of pilates. This low impact exercise combines core, stabilization, strength, flexibility, balance and alignment, with concepts like mindfulness and breath work. 

This workout is ideal for all fitness levels and can be easily modified to meet each individual body. 

Teacher approval required before moving on to Level 2.

Level 2:

This intermediate level includes level 1 and layers in progressions, building on the fundamentals with more complex exercises including unilateral work. This is a more challenging and intense level class. 

This level must be mastered before getting teacher approval and moving on to Level 3.

LEVEL 1:

Strengthen and tone the body while practicing the fundamentals of pilates. This low impact exercise combines core, stabilization, strength, flexibility, balance and alignment, with concepts like mindfulness and breath work. 

This workout is ideal for all fitness levels and can be easily modified to meet each individual body.

Teacher approval required before moving on to Level 2.

Level 3:

Teacher approved, Level 3 is a more callenging and faster-paced class with advanced exercises incorporating whole body movement through training stability and mobility, functional movement patterns, challenging load and resistance and coordinating complex movements.
